The Airport is also at the centre of the UK's motorway network and only 1 mile (1.6 km) from junction 6 of the M42
How to get to the airport
Birmingham International Airport is on the A45 Coventry Road, 8 miles (12km) east of Birmingham City Centre and close to junction 6 of the M42. There are direct connections to the M1, M5, M6 and M40. The Airport is sign-posted from motorways and major roads and is marked on all good quality road maps.
